Civil Estimator

 Job Responsibilities:

◾Review project plans, requirements, and specifications.

 ◾Identify scope of work and perform quantity takeoff for civil work associated with industrial related projects.

 ◾Solicit pricing from material vendors and subcontractors, evaluate responses and make recommendations.

 ◾Attend pre-bid site visits during bidding process.

 ◾Ensure compliance with company standards, evaluate client requirements.

 ◾Ensure estimates are complete, organized, and ready for review.

 ◾Ensure estimates address all potential safety risks and concerns.

 ◾Maintain base bid documents and organize estimate information.

 Qualifications / Requirements:

 ◾Engineering degree or equivalent of technical training and/or experience.

 ◾Good communications skills and ability to work with others; a self-starter.

 ◾3-5 years of estimating civil projects or equivalent field experience.

 ◾Familiar with site work, excavations, foundations, miscellaneous steel.

 ◾Requires strong computer skills, familiarity with scheduling, estimating (HCSS) software and MS Office.

 

Title: Millwright

Job Responsibilities:

 ◾Installs machinery and equipment according to general arrangement layout plans, blueprints, specifications and drawings in an industrial environment

 ◾Dismantles and repairs machinery and equipment using hammers, wrenches, crowbars and other handtools

 ◾Moves machinery and equipment using winches, jacks, hoists, dollies, rollers and trucks

 ◾Constructs foundations for machines using handtools and building materials, such as wood, cement and steel

 ◾Sets base plates to line and level and installs grout beneath them

 Qualifications/Requirements:

 ◾Minimum of 4 - 6 years of Journey level experience. NCCER Certs.

 ◾Must have a good understanding of blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.

 ◾Structural welding experience is a plus.

 

Carpenter

Job Responsibilities:

 ◾Constructs or assembles concrete forming systems, according to blueprints and specifications, for forming concrete structures.

 ◾Constructs, erects, installs, and repairs structures, scaffolding and framework using hand and power tools, while conforming to building codes.

 Qualifications/Requirements:

 ◾The ideal candidate will have 3+ years experience in industrial, commercial and bridge work.

 ◾Must be able to read and interpret blueprints.

 ◾3 years of assembly/disassembly of heavy form systems.

 ◾Prior Rigging knowledge is a plus.

 ◾Must have the appropriate tools of the trade.

 

Project Safety Manager

Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of safety and health on a construction project site.

Inspect and evaluate project site, equipment and processes to ensure compliance.

Plan, control and coordinate all work to eliminate hazards, minimize risks, and aggressively manage losses involving injuries or property damages.

Facilitates or participates in incident investigations and near miss reporting.

Implement drug testing for pre-hire, reasonable cause, random and post incident.

Qualifications:

5 years of construction experience managing safety or a related field, with demonstrated ability to provide safety leadership to both management and craft workers.

Knowledge of regulations and standards and hazard recognition, injury management skills, written and verbal communication skills as they pertain to the construction industry such as OSHA, NFPA, NEC, ANSI, TCEQ, OSHA 500 or 502, First Aid, CPR AED.
